Our Teachers
Frankie Hidalgo
Juno Nominee, arranger, composer, director, performer, producer, entrepreneur and multi-instrumentalist, Frankie Hidalgo has been an active member of the Western Canada music community for the last 15 years. He has worked alongside international acts, musical projects, managed music schools, arts festivals and played for various venues in Canada and in the US. With high energy and captivating rhythms, Frankie brings the Latin heat with a flair of his creativity and charisma.
Diego Kohl
Diego, born in Ajijic, Mexico, moved to Canada at age 10. Immersed in North American music, he decided to become a musician at fourteen and has pursued it for over 25 years.
An alumnus of Vancouver Community College with a degree in Music-Classical Piano, Diego teaches piano, guitar, bass, and guitarron at his studio and offers private lessons.
Performing regularly in the lower mainland, Diego has played with the Dal Richards Orchestra and directs his Latin band, Orquesta Tabasko. He also cherishes Mariachi music and has been a member of Mariachi Los Dorados since 2004.

Our Programs
Salsa Ensembles
Offering instruction on this infectious rythym that we all love to dance to! Learn the grooves and all its inticrate rythyms. All students learn percussion instrument and have a choice of an instrument or to sing. We offer a kids, youth and adult Ensemble.
Kids Group - Saturdays 11:00am-11:50 pm
Youth Group - Wednesdays 7:00-7:50pm
Adult Group - Wednesday 8:00-8:50pm
Mariachi Ensembles
Learn the Folkloric rhythms of Mexico's vibrant musical culture. We accept students with abilities and the ability to play the following: guitar, bass, violin, viola, cello, ukulele

Guitar/Piano Group Lessons
New to the instrument or just wanna jam with other? This is the perfect group for you. We explore our instruments and jam on pop and rock songs.
