1.Payment Policy:

-Payment for lessons is due on or before the 1st day of each month.

-Monthly fees:

-Salsa and Mariachi Ensembles: $180 per student.

-Guitar/Piano Group Lessons: $140 per student.

-Any statutory holidays will be prorated for the month.

2.Lesson Missed Policy:

-No reimbursement or makeup lessons will be issued for a student missing a lesson.

-However, we offer other days for makeup lessons based on teacher availability. During concerts, we provide extra complimentary lessons to prepare students.

-We ask that students provide 14 days' notice for any missed lessons in the upcoming month or for termination of lessons.

3.Makeup Lessons and Substitute Teachers:

-If a regular music teacher is unable to teach a scheduled lesson (due to illness, personal emergency, or unforeseen circumstances), Klave Music School will arrange for a qualified substitute teacher.

-If no substitute teacher is available, Klave Music School will make an effort to schedule a makeup lesson at a later date that is convenient for both the student and the school, based on teacher availability.

-Makeup lessons will cover the material missed during the original lesson.

-In exceptional cases, if neither a substitute nor a makeup lesson can be arranged, a full refund for the missed lesson will be provided, or the fee can be applied to future group lessons.

4.Cancellation Policy:

-If a student wishes to cancel their lessons, 14 days' notice must be provided before the next billing cycle.

-If a student cancels without providing the required notice, the student will be responsible for the upcoming month’s tuition in full.

-For cancellations initiated by Klave Music School, a prorated refund or credit for any unused lessons will be provided.

5.Drop-In Rates for Music Classes:

-Drop-in rates are set at $50 per class for students not enrolled in a regular, ongoing class.

-Drop-in slots are subject to availability and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to enrolled students.

-Drop-in fees are non-refundable. Refund requests due to extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis, with written requests submitted to the school administration.

6.Student Responsibilities:

-Students must bring all sheet music and materials assigned by their teacher to each lesson.

7.Liability:

-Klave Music School is not liable for any theft, harm, or injury caused to a student or their property while on school property or at any event hosted by Klave Music School. The student or their parent/guardian releases Klave Music School from any legal responsibility for such incidents.

8.Privacy and Use of Student Images:

By enrolling, the student or their parent/guardian agrees to allow Klave Music School to use images or videos of the student taken during lessons, rehearsals, recitals, or other school events for promotional materials.
